A custom solution based on GIS technology from Pegasus for unmanned air vehicle Nishant of Aeronautical
Development Establishment, DRDO, Bangalore. Digital maps serve as the backdrop to monitor, track and
navigate the UAV Nishant from a mobile Ground Control Station (GCS).
The real-time GIS handles multiple layers of vector/raster data and uses DEM/DTED data for 3D modelling of terrain.
Supports on-field creation and editing of overlays that reflect ground reality.
Multiple real-time data views are generated from air vehicle data.
